I'll teach her manners!

My 1st attempt at American McGee's Madness Returns Alice, Debuted at Con-Nichiwa 2013 Saturday March 23,2013

The Vorpal Cleaver blade was all hand carved out of wood, sanded down, layered with guesso for texture then spray painted and detailed then overlaid with an ink wash and then finally sealed. The handle was molded out of sculpey baked and then had the same painting treatment applied. My husband was kind enough to make it all for me, since prop making and me don't really get along..

As for the dress yes this is the Official Licensed costume from Leg Avenue I altered it a bit. Im still pretty new to sewing so it's a work in progress. The Boot Covers however I made all by myself, very 1st time making boot covers yayy ^^ for my 1st attempt they don't look terrible I suppose. They are made out of stretch fabric. At the time of the picture they were actually not finished... I ran out of time before the con and I decided to wear them anyways for a test run. They held up decently.. I am currently in the process of perfecting them using different fabrics and all the buckle detailings. I repeat these were NOT FINISHED at the time of the pictures.
